Just noticed this at MarketTicker Flags And How To Get One Flag icons under your username are given out for extraordinary service to our nation in the difficult economic circumstances we find ourselves in. You can't buy one for any amount of money donated to the forum, and they don't come from being a veteran (although that service is certainly appreciated too, and more than you will ever know.) You can only earn them. If you actively protest - not with money, with action in the streets - peaceful, organized action - in a protest action that TickerForum stands behind, then you will receive this special token of the forum's appreciation at the discretion of the administrators. A flag under a user's avatar or name symbolizes that this user is a true patriot. That person has made an extraordinary effort to change the economic train wreck facing our nation. They are the Madisons and Jeffersons of our age. That would never fly here. In fact, I may catch an ignore for posting it.
