That is axactly what the Ny Times and WSJ articles were about. Personally, I didn't consider it news at all, much less something that hurts out war on terror. In fact, I doubt it will make a single bit of difference in catching a single terrorist.

The only real issue here is the fact Bush-Cheney continue skirting the mandatory FISA courts and congressional oversight laws, making them a criminal administration abusing their power. because there is no real excuse for it whatsoever. They could easily get FISA warrants for any legit terrorist bank account interdiction.
