This article is a masterpiece in taking a diplomatic statement by Senator Warner who is not advocating complete withdrawal from Iraq into a chorus by some in Congress-----Senator Warner said "Some" and linked it to the "commitment in Iraq not being open ended".

"Warner, R-Va., former chairman of the Armed Services Committee and Navy secretary during the Vietnam War, said Bush should bring some troops home by Christmas. Doing so, he told reporters Thursday, would send a powerful message that the U.S. commitment in Iraq was not open-ended."

Note that Warner is not advocating a withdrawal as was done in Vietnam. Warner has likely learned a lesson in his job during the Vietnam War.

Agree with President Bush keep the war over there and not here or in other nations targeted by terrorist activity.
