CancelColbert Protestors Double Down "The marginalization of other voices is now complete."

Two of the women responsible for the #CancelColbert movement have pledged to continue to protest Stephen Colbert's selection as David Letterman's replacement. Vowing to "protest this until it ends, activists Suey Park and Eunsong Kim pledged to not accept the "aggression" of Colbert's selection by CBS in an editorial for Time.com:

The marginalization of “other voices” — except when those “others” are brought in only to aid in the cheap punch line of a joke — is complete. This is aggression that we do not have to accept. We will protest this until it ends.

Many dismissed the protest we undertook last month with #CancelColbert, a hashtag we set up in response to a blatantly racist Tweet about Asians from the Colbert show’s account.

Many Asians were outraged by a tweet sent from the authorized twitter account of Colbert's Comedy Central show:

I am willing to show #Asian community I care by introducing the Ching-Chong Ding-Dong Foundation for Sensitivity to Orientals or Whatever.— The Colbert Report (@ColbertReport) March 27, 2014,

The highest profile critic of Colbert's actions on the show and his response to the tweet (which was deleted from the account and of which Colbert disavowed any prior knowledge or authorship) was conservative Michelle Malkin, who called Colbert a "coward" and blasted him in an op-ed.
