Linux lights Corel afire .."I think people are just realizing Corel's potential in the Linux space," she added. The shares also got a boost by an appearance yesterday by CEO Michael Cowpland on the financial network CNBC and by a Comdex keynote address by Scott McNealy, chief executive of Sun Microsystems. McNealy took potshots at Microsoft and praised the potential of Linux, seen by some as competitor to Microsoft's Windows. "It is additional publicity and it is positive towards Linux," said Jean W.
