Dean made a serious blunder poo-pooing Saddam's capture. At the very least it lifts the spirits of the troops and makes it easier to pacify Iraq. That alone is big. Does it make us safer in the long run? Maybe not but the prez contender should not be saying something detrimental to the troops morale. The troops caught Saddam and that's a nice bag, even if it came 6 months later than hoped.
