Joe and all, thoughts for short-term. Very short-term!
1. The sharp rally today: At around 12:15 a sharp turnaround in the futures market turns the markets sharply around! - a) an expecetd bounce at SPZ 900 or b) PPT in action!
2. Greeny speech - non-factor!
3. Markets SHOULD be concerned about the strength in bonds!
4. Volatility in bond market is puzzling long bond yield down almost 6 BPs and then closed down only 2.4 BPs.

Tomorrow's PPI is very important.
Scenario 1: Core PPI up 0.1 or more, the market rallies 100+
Scenario 2: Core PPI +0.1 to -0.2 - market stays volatile as it is today!
Scenario 3: Core rate -0.2 to -0.3, big down day
Scenario 4: Core rate gives-in 0.4 (i.e. -0.4) or more, Armegeddon tomorrow or Monday!

I think that the bonds are looking at either S3 or S4! And, I am too! The moment long bond yield closes below 6% "in a hurry", the stock take a tumble!
