The KLA and PLO are apples and oranges. The PLO's sole purpose was the overthrow of a foreign government by violence, from Jordanian soil. The KLA's purpose is to remove Yugoslavian rule from Kosovo. The one is aimed at violence against a nation, the other is aimed at opposing violence aimed at their representative population.

Hussein was wise to expel the PLO in order to prevent an overthrow of his own government and an invasion from Israel. Milosevich has created the very situation which not only gave rise to the KLA, but has given it respectability amongst Albanian Kosovars. Milosevich's sole reason for opposing the KLA is to remain in power, because once he loses Kosovo, Serbia will abandon him.

I am no lover of the KLA, but to compare them to the PLO and to defame Hussein by comparing him to Milosevich is absurd. The political aims and environment of the two are wholly dissimiliar.
