ask the risk of being clown bearish on the TNX:

I think we go up 250 basis points from the low. having been in the mortgage side of the market in 93 & 99 run-ups.

I think we see 5.5% to 5.9% on the TNX intermediate term, with the caveat that this is an opinion rather than a formal analysis. any e wave support or rebuttal of this "opinion" is welcome. Maybe the wheels are falling off the credit bubble. A lot of 3-5 year fixed, rolling to adjustable mortgages were made in the last 1-3 years.... plus all the 125% equity lines (virtually all adjustable rates)
