West Red Lake Gold aka WRLG released another set of definition drill holes, this time from a single drill bay aimed at the South Austin zone, planned as one of the early ore sources as they reopen the Madsen gold mine in Ontario. South Austin already has a declared Indicated Resource of 474k oz @ 8.7 g/t Au plus an Inferred resource of 31k oz @ 8.7 g/t Au. Some of these drill results will convert Inferred to Indicated, some is just to confirm existing Resources, plus the deposit remains open at depth and along strike for future growth.

As expected, there are some impressive intercepts like 10.6m @ 114.26 g/t Au,, 8.5m @ 24.48 g/t Au, and 10.15m @ 18.76 g/t Au. Let us hope they can continue to pull good values like this as drilling continues preparatory to restarting production in H2.

Wallbridge Mining aka WM has some promising gold properties along the Detour Lake trend in Quebec, but the share price has stalled out of late. Their latest PR will not make a big difference, alas.

First Midland has given them more time to fulfill the requirements to earn a 50% share of the the Casault prospect, located between WM's Martiniere and Detour East properties. (WM can later increase their interest to 65%.)

As well, WM announced that Abitibi Metals had completed to requirements to buy the nearby Beschefer property outright.

Rocky Shore Gold aka RSG (formerly HMLO) continued its pivot to Newfoundland by staking more ground and increasing their Gold Anchor property to more than 1200 sq km. Gold Anchor now contains more than 20 km of the Appleton Fault Corridor, which hosts nearby gold deposits such as those being explored by New Found Gold, plus more than 40 km of the gold-bearing JBP Fault. Currently RSG's geologists are carrying out mapping and sampling and geophysics preparatory to drilling later this year.
