A few weeks back QCOM announced a deal with RFMD for supply of CDMA power amplifiers. CNXT, which previously supplied these, has suffered for this and other reasons.. My question is: since QCOM is no longer in the handset business, why are they still ordering components? Or do they integrate it with their ASICS, and then sell the unit to the handset manufacturers?

Thanks for any help
