It becomes really difficult to equate 2nd and 3rd world societies to USA, Free Europe, etc. The New Free World has to live with the fact that the Computer, the Internet and Air travel have changed forever the comfort and safety of isolationism or thinking “its not in my backyard so who cares” 9/11 proved beyond all doubt that anyone anywhere can get to you and hurt you if that is what they so desire…… The present Free World thinking that Nuclear Armament for Iran, North Korea can be tolerated is like having ones head stuck in the sand. It is akin to committing suicide in my opinion…… We should not be cherry picking small scale confrontation in Afghanistan, Iraq, we need to deal forcefully now with this threat….it needs to be thought of as a cancerous tumor on the lung and excised. The New Global political landscape dictates that each Free and self governed country must do whatever it has to in order to remain self sufficient and free. regards
