Rocky Shore Gold aka RSG confirmed it is all in on its Newfoundland gold prospects by completing the sale of all of its Ontario claims to ABX for $1M plus some NSRs. I am glad they were able to acquire the NSRs, because several of the Ontario properties look like they might amount to something, particularly the PGM prospect not far from GENM's recently opened Marathon mine.

Project generator Riverside Resources aka RRI has provided updates on two pf their Mexican prospects.

At La Union in Sonora, where QQQ is earning up to 100% ownership for RRI in exchange for a 19.9% stake in QQQ and other considerations, we get more detail on recent and upcoming exploration (managed by RRI). Though it contains past-producing mines which produced approximately 50k oz Au from mostly shallow mineralization, the property has never been subject to modern exploration techniques. The first ever geophysics on the property has defined three zones which will be the subject of the first ever drill programme. In the meantime geophysics and mapping and sampling continue.

Meanwhile, RRI has received notice that FVI has dropped their option on the Cecilia Au/Ag prospect, also in Sonora, before gaining any interest in the project. On the surface this sounds like bad news, but RRI will benefit from the work done by FVI to define targets which will help to find another partner to pay for more exploration.

Osisko Development aka ODV released results from ongoing metallurgical testing of the bulk sample they recently extracted from the Cariboo gold mine in BC, which is supposed to start construction H2 for first production in 2027.

The news was good, as ore sorting achieved results which matched or exceeded the assumptions in the recently released feasibility study. Even better, it turns out there will be further upside from the fines, which were not included in the feasibility study.

I still find it hard that a company of this size can raise the money and pull off this build by themselves, hence I still expect the small amount of ODV warrants I own to expire worthless.

When Impact Silver aka IPT acquired the Plomosas Zn/Pb/Ag mine in Chihuahua, Mexico, they pointed to three factors they thought would make it a profitable operation: improving the mine and equipment; upgrading the mill; and finding new mineralization on the property. So far they have made good progress on the first two, and now we start to hear about the third.

They are drilling for extensions of mineralization around the mine in a numbers of zones, for which we will hear results later, but this time the drilling found an extension to the Juarez zone note far from existing workings. They have been able to extend the CBD deposit by a considerable distance, with the best assay being 10.38% Zn over 3.94m Including 20.95% Zn over 1.70m.

If they can continue to expand mineralization near existing workings, IPT says this will allow them to increase production.
