adjusting somewhat to driving a Beemr, go Florida State

before getting serious on cars:
BIG VOLATILITY IN STOCK MOVES NEVER PRECEDES BIG DECLINES

sartorial note: now sporting Florida State shirts
have always been a 'Nole fan, love their brand of football
in 1976 I turned down a fellowship at Florida State in Statistics
visited the campus, met some professors, attended a few classes
also watched leggy girls play tennis, witnessed multi-gender streaking episode
my reasoning was I would play tennis, not work
fellowship means FREE graduate school ride, zero tuition

got no time for Univ Florida Gators
I would pull for Gators only if dating a woman who is an avid Gator fan
(only exception)
Seminole fans despise the theft of their Tomahawk Din Cheer by Atlanta Braves sucky fans

ok
handling with steering, accelerating like a demon is no problem
dusted some Mitsubishi yesterday, with Chevy V8 competing
it is 2nd gear that the Beemr screams in

but dumping as release into first gear once per day
the idle is the lowest I have ever seen, about 600rpm
the engine needs a lot of gas to get into first gear

when my mind is pondering the landscape, music, or gyrating hips, I sometimes shift from 5th into 4th
mistakenly believe I am in 3rd, and need 4th
the engine is so quiet, I dont realize what gear I am in
only happens when distracted, usually music
some great R&R radio channels in Tampa/StPete
my Nissan Walker Hound Hearse didnt even have a radio

nice saleswoman at BMW dealer helped me to pilfer a lost rondel
the little rondel thingy on hubcaps covers the lugnuts
it fell off after repairing a flat tire two weeks ago
I suppose I didnt know exactly how to put the damned thing on right
I do now
so a nice forsale 1997 BMW on their lot has a rondel missing

I made a loose comment to salewoman about the title clerk making my heart skip a beat
I said "too bad she is married, damned ring"
she hinted she was single

dunno, 20 superfluous pounds on her fenders
now that drive shaft is another matter
/ JW Classy Beemr
