Its really a two edged sword. As long as Bush and his mob are in power gold and oil etc will continue to go up because the USA is alienating EVERYONE. But here is where we must be careful. Before he is through everyone will swing to an anti-USA stance and it is shrewd for those with insight to stay clear out of the line of fire by investing only in countries with little political risk because as good as the projects seem, it will all be for nought.

I'm not interested in arguing this point with anyone. I'm right. Be careful out there.

Report: Chinese Base at Antarctica Can Disable US Satellites

Jim Sinclair’s Commentary

Look what is going on. The UN is too terrified of Iran’s oil and nuke cards to accomplish anything. Assume there is a nuclear breakout between Israel and Iran: China is a friend of Iran, having large oil investments there. Zhong Shan Station may be able to shut down both Israel and the US's high tech weapons systems that are wholly dependent on American satellites. Ever heard of that thing called GPS? It is required for aiming everything that flies.

Black boxes may well be firing their power negatively at gold. The school that believes the value of a currency is comprised totally of the interest rate it pays is still trying to bull the US$. This Iranian thing is coming down faster than anyone believed it would. Israel cannot wait for the UN or permission from the US to act. They will not be here in 2007 if they do.

Iran might even appear to fold in order to buy time, but they will not have folded underground and Israel knows it. The warning made today by Israel is not idle talk.

Should nuclear push come to a mushroom cloud shove China will protect their assets with a push of a button in Antarctica. Everything will go dark in the navigation sense. Did you not hear Iran say they have the ability to stop the West dead in their tracks in the use of electronic warfare? Has the US not stated China is the most militarily capable adversary on the planet? Put 2 and 2 together because it always equals 4.

Do you still want to throw away your gold position? Do you really believe that the value of a currency is the interest rate it pays?

WAKE UP!

Study the following and make sure you understand the significance of the Zhong Shan station. It has the capability to screw up more than just GPS systems.

Report: Chinese Base at Antarctica Can Disable Satellites

News China last week announced its intention to build a high-frequency radar on the South Pole, reports East-Asia-Intel. The radar will be built at China’s Zhongshan Station, where Beijing has set up of a space environment lab. The high-frequency radar, which will consist of 20 antenna units, will have a range of approximately 3,000 km. Chinese officials told the news agency Xinhua that the station will be used to measure the polar space environment. However, U.S. defense analysts believe that the site could be used to disable U.S. satellites which pass over the South Pole.

The 2005 Pentagon (annual) report on the military capabilities of China had noted that the country is “conducting research to develop ground-based laser ASAT [anti-satellite] weapons,” and that “Beijing has and will continue to enhance its satellite tracking and identification network—the first step in establishing a credible ASAT capability.” In coming years, it is possible that China could deploy ASAT weapons in Antarctica capable of blinding or disrupting U.S. satellites
