Because those claims are as bogus as his denials. Remember, which I'm sure you will choose not to, he said that the budget couldn't be balanced until 10 years, under pressure he then said maybe in 7 years, and was finally forced to accept 5 years. Then, due to caps place on spending by the Congress, the "forecast" for a budget surplus suddenly appeared. Guess what, The Coward claimed he did it. What a guy you got, dearie.
