On reading the sources and considering the position of the spokeperson (FORE area manager of Singapore) I believe the Asia forecast to be accurate. I read the subsequent denial by FORE as pro forma disavowal of forward looking statement and a rebuke to that local area manager for unauthorised (and unapproved by FORE hierarchy) disclosure.
