Well right now icge mkt cap is about 20 billion. Just taking 3 of their portfolio companies out of total 42 the icge valuation now is around 2.5 billion... I'm talking about 35% vert, 50% bway and 35% e-chemicals (compete with cmdx)... each of these 3 is on an upward trajectory valuation-wise.... I know you also see vert rising substantially from here, right? So I would place the potential valuation of the icge % of just vert,e-chemicals and bway to be about 4 billion. There are still 39 other companies in the portfolio, a few of which look particularly interesting (asset trade).

I think icge is doing a better job of creating quality names vs. cmgi - a minority opinion I know... but vert is certainly top tier for now and e-chemicals looks good (if you like chemicals - I don't but I'm holding my nose!). ICGE was an early investor in b2b and they got some goodies I think. Anyway 16 billion valuation for all other 39 companies looks a little low to me in light of the valuations in the sector. I don't know... your guess is as good as mine... but I think icge goes up not down.

The only thing I don't like about icge is the 100mm shares outstanding.
