Agreed, it does seem the implicit message to the shareholders is
not a very good one. I mentioned the Wal-Mart scenario: the CEO
of that company treats his shareholders like he treats his customers
like he probably wants to be treated himself. That's the sign of a
well-run company and a good investment and, despite recent pullbacks,
I'm way ahead on that investment. Wal-Mart is one of my three
biggest investments and its also one that requires very little time
to follow as I feel very secure with that one; with AMD I do not but
I would feel good about AMD if the leaders of this company would do
something to address shareholder concerns. If that is not done, then
agreed also that there are better places to invest.
