We're just getting started on a veritable earnings explosion, the likes of which we'll probably never see again. Companies cut to the bone - too deeply - and when that's coupled with the easiest earnings comp's that I can remember, you're looking squarely at the raw ingredients... now, the key: An economic pickup, which unlocks the leverage in operating structures. Unless you've got your blinders on, the evidence is plentiful that a pickup is underway."
