Thank you, Gary. No problems with part time helps in Natick AMES. Some more senior workers are there now. Snow may hurt some sales during snow, but most AMES customers are having fun at the store. Quick changes and more new merchandises helped. POS system still old IBM's and no sweat with scanned prices; the wait on NCR commitment so far resulted in better POS software coming (shown in Computer reseller news' POS market place advertizements, Nov. 17, 1997) and cheaper hardware is definitely here. Saved AMES $40 million on NCRs, last year.
