This table is shown periodically to update performance of the semi and major indices over the "medium term".

In this case the period is from 7/4/14 to the present, a period of 3 and 1/2 years. 7/4/14 was an interim high point in the semi sector, but of course has since moved on to new highs. As the chart shows the SOX had a rather "flat" performance, up and down until May 2016 when it closed below the 7/4/14 value. This was the turning point for a continual rise since that point. As the table shows, the SOX closed at 650.55 on 7/4/14 and 1325.71(+103.8%) this past week.

The table also shows over this period that NVDA was the big winner with a 10 bagger greatly out distancing the other 27 SOXM stocks. However, 12 stocks have exceeded 100% gains over the period. Only PLAB, CREE and VECO have lost value.
