More Republicans than Democrats. But they all do it and it is pathetic. Just as the food stamp provisions that are often tied to the subsidies to enable it to get through Congress.

This is one reason our country is a mess. There is no fiscal responsibility coming from either of the parties.

Make no mistake, however -- these are not all big corporations. In my state, the two biggest are large operations (Riceland and Producer's); but there are many small farmers -- hundreds -- who have gotten millions in subsidies over the years.

Many of my former clients would not have been in business were it not for the subsidies. And they shouldn't be. Our Democrat congressman, a few years ago, was in eastern Arkansas doling out subsidy money like it was his own. Pathetic, bipartisan taxpayer ripoffs.
