Dear F~, I hope the rumor you're referring to as false is the "negotiations breakdown" rumor. The "end of Sept." is not a rumor. It is an estimate from the company management and is subject to conditions beyond their control. I wish we could get a management estimate from Texaco. Regards, Chris BTW, if you want to see a rumor fiasco, check out FAMH. Someone posted a (I suspect) fake press release indicating that FAMH was to be acquired for .78.
