Value is starting to show up down at these levels. I love Apple at the current price with $21 a share in cash and $10 a year in FCF. Throw in a new MAC for the masses around $800, and Apple has all the toys.

As for the banks, I think alot of banks will figure out ways to sell assets. GS is starting a subsidiary bank in Utah and putting $150 billion in loans. They could sell a big chunk of these assets to the TARP and issue warrants and executive comp limits for the subsidiary bank. That would enable them to recapitalize the new bank using all of their bad loans, without having the big guys take a pay cut or dilute the value of GS.
