Aren't there some Baathist insurgency groups? As far as I can tell they aren't major players but I think they exist.

There's the Al-Awda (Return) Party, who have been recently fighting Jihadist groups for control of Anbar province.

It's led, supposedly, by Izzat Ibrahim Al-Duri and Muhammed Yunis Al-Ahmad.. At least this was the case when I was there late year.

But the majority of the insurgents we targeted were Al Qai'da or Ansar Al Sunna.
