AAPL's NC hardware needs to be both network and desktop capable

IBM (PowerPC) and LOTUS have prepared software along those lines .

IBM seeds Independent Software Vars (ISV) with their Enterprise Java Beans (EJB) application building blocks for a 10% cut:

techweb.com

IBM's EJB by definition is NC and Desktop suitable .

However LOTUS's NC "only" software is ready for IBM's (PowerPC) and Oracle's NCs (?) :

techweb.com

LOTUS awaits Sun's unspecified NC , but fails to mention AAPL's NC , yet Senor Jobs supposedly has a running NC in a suitcase .

MSFT's Office 98 (AAPL desktop) may be a LOTUS NC tender spot , as AAPL's rumored NC if both a NC and desktop , would run both existing (MSFT) software and LOTUS's new JAVA applications .

AAPL's Web Ojects produces both JAVA and "C" code as program source so maybe there is hope for AAPL's "rumored" dual purpose NC .
