Freepages Group plc Announces Internet Partnership
with CompuServe

LONDON, Dec. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Freepages Group plc (Nasdaq: FREEY - news) the UK interactive branded services
company operating under the Scoot trading name, has formed an integrated partnership agreement with CompuServe, the UK's
most innovative Online Internet Service.

Under the agreement, the Scoot database of over 2 million UK business and service records will be accessible to
CompuServe's 400,000 members via a direct 'Go' button link to the Scoot web site. In addition the top 200 Scoot
classifications will be integrated into the CompuServe service, broken down to map on to CompuServe's content channels.
Through these specialist areas CompuServe members will be able to access Scoot information relevant to a particular topic,
such as travel, sport, money, photography, entertainment, etc.

This exclusive deal will be fully functional on 1st February 1999.
