Debra,

Wish I could attend the meeting. I am hoping they can some how record it and provide it to their investors via audio conference or INET audio.

The prospects for FTEL are enormous! They seem (still checking them out) to have a very solid line of T1 (digital line) muxing equipment. IMHO very undervalued right now.

As far as voice over the INET. I have some major concerns with this issue and video over the INET. The major problem is bandwidth. Everyone must keep in mind that the INET is 20 something years old and its sole purpose until the last several years was to transmit data among govt entities. Since it was commericalized, we have had explosive growth in its network and that is where my concern lies.

Voice and especially video of the INET gobbles up bandwidth in a big way. Some ISP's in New England have reported that the network has been brought down to its knees when users utilize audio or video products like CUSEEME.

There is no doubt that this is a huge opportunity and the LD companies are deeply concerned about it, especially with oversee toll service revenues being erroded.

New wireless, VSAT and traditional teleco services (like ATM) will have to be deployed in the very near future to produce the necessary bandwidth these applications are going to require.

Hope this teleco primer helps!
