The big problem with the DATEK Streamer today was the Java portion, not the actual data feed. I could not get it to load at all. A couple of the servers were down (I tried different ones using the IP addresses). This is another reason why QuoteTracker (http://www.quotetracker.com) is better for use with the streamer data than DATEK's own tool. QuoteTracker connects directly to the data feed without having to deal with their Java program. If it detects that the connection is dead, it automatically reconnects. You can also track 80 stocks instead of 40 (or 20... have to see if DATEK can make up their minds). It has tons of other features that you don't get using the java program including real-time intraday charts with technical indicators.
