I agree with the "at the moment" part and disagree on the forward looking statement. And that is your and my prerogative. So, I will leave it at that.

<I will stipulate that I rely on some architecture savvy friends and contacts in order to draw my conclusions. As for the moment, the fact that the side by side comparisons of K7 vs. Coppermine are coming out a dead heat in aggregate seem to confirm my source's veracity, at least in my mind>

I was unusually aggressive with my comments earlier today given the fine mood that I am in (portfolio up nicely again) but I guess my patience was wearing thin when I wrote that post. Let me try to say what I said again a little less aggressively: I think it is weak argument to compare CuMine and Athlon and conclude that the cores are competitive. That does not take away from the fact that the current products are competitive.

At this point, I am clearly beating a dead horse. So, I shall stop.
