Ron, I agree with much of what you stated in your post. I just cannot stand the arrogance or stupidity of some politicians who refuse to face the reality that mistakes were made. ( I have a problem with Blair's attitude in particular) The NATO conditions for stopping the war should be modified to adapt to the consequences of those mistakes. Talking about Rambouillet as if it were still relevant is absurd : we should be negotiating, not trying to save the political skins of some of our leaders who made ridiculous predictions, while every additional day the war goes on brings more suffering to the civilian parties involved.
