Try NASAgate Don Surber One of the drawbacks of being a newspaper blogger is that you cannot use language quite as colorful as you would like to best describe the events that take place during the day. NASAgate is one such instance. The above graphic shows that despite the winter we endured, NASA insists that once again this winter was hot, hot, hot. How did they do that? By extrapolation. Areas of the world without thermometers were assigned temperatures by NASA. Ta-da! They suddenly have their proof that it’s hotter than hell on Earth. It’s science, so you serfs had better sacrifice your SUVs. The government officials will continue riding in their Escalades. From Fox News: <<< “NASA was able to put a man on the moon, but the space agency can’t tell you what the temperature was when it did. By its own admission, NASA’s temperature records are in even worse shape than the besmirched Climate-gate data. “E-mail messages obtained by a Freedom of Information Act request reveal that NASA concluded that its own climate findings were inferior to those maintained by both the University of East Anglia’s Climatic Research Unit (CRU) — the scandalized source of the leaked Climate-gate e-mails — and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s National Climatic Data Center.” >>> It looks as though NASA, NOAA and CRU were in cahoots to oversell global warming. Their data is so contaminated that it is junk and we need to start over again. .
