I read it but sure didn't take it literally. I didn't take it literally, either, with regard to celebrities. But I understood the author to mean that certain pronouncements by the Obama crew meant that life-saving treatment would be involuntarily withheld from people if the bureaucracy deemed their quality of life insufficient to justify the cost. If you think I am misreading the piece, please offer an alternative take. Or, if I am interpreting it correctly and if you can make a logical case for that conclusion from any pronouncement made by Obama and company, please take a shot at it.
