bilow, good note, again. a couple points... 1. >>Only a few companies went with DDR [ed, i think you meant rdram here], and it was due to their management making the mistake of ordering their engineers to use it or walk.<< hey, i spot typos easily since i make enough of them ;-) don't forget the BILLIONS INTEL DUMPED to get the memory guys to build rdrm. if intel hadn't been so dumb/arrogant, perhaps NOBODY would have started building rdram in the first place. btw, do you recall the dram intel tried to force on the market and failed? i think the time frame frame was 1994 or so.
