koan, that post reminds me of the Sociology course I took in my Freshman year of college. I listened intently in the first couple of lectures and I got the distinct impression that I wasn't smart enough to be in college. Amazingly I aced all the tests. The professor even complimented me on my "blue book" offerings. I guess I took all the stuff that he had presented and sort of melded it into something that the average human could comprehend. Nowadays I'm too old to try to figure out what "Kant" and the others were saying. They said that stuff a long time ago and situations change so I try to present my own thinking on things.
