Back in the dark ages when I was in school the pay to a senator was around $60k a year. The class did a study and the UNTAXED benefits a senator gets were over $1 million a year. By 1993 I'd bet they were over $2 million a year. Kerry must have bought Girl Scout cookies for his staff. Or maybe he donated his worn out underwear like Clinton.
