Alomex, What disappointment are you referring to or are you just talking generally. Corel writing off their WP aquisition I do not believe would be received as a disappointment, and if so, would already be factored into the share price because the street believes this will happen. This write off will then increase earnings by $10 million per quarter (previous article) which would be perceived favorably, even though it does not increase cashflow. The market and certain people on this thread are so down on Corel that no matter what Cowpland does it is perceived as underhanded. Yes, in the long run real earnings are needed to significantly boost the share price, but in the mean time any reported earnings are better than none at all.
