Here's the scenario:
A patient with advanced, inoperable (or progressive) lung cancer has an obstruction of his main stem bronchus. He's already recieved as much radiation as he can get, and is now short of breath. You can try to burn out the tumor with a yag laser, or use photofrin. The only problem here is that it virtually doesn't matter. The patients' life expectancy is measured in weeks, not months. No intervention at this point matters.
This being said, I think that photofrin will develop a nitche, here.
The stock is undoubtedly moving because of this indication. I just dont think that this use of the drug will get the stock very far in the long run.
Incidently, I'm long about 1,000 shares, now.
