<<<Just a further question. Why are people so talkative on this thread?

(1) The speculative nature of the stock leads to lots of speculation?
(2) The upside potential of the stock leads to lots of dreaming?
(3) The entity has nothing better to do?
(4) Amati's stealth marketing leaves others to spread info?
>>>

If 1 and 2 were true, other speculative stocks would have as many posts.

Three may not apply as the entity has been banished, at least temporarily.

That leaves 4 which has a grain of truth though your choice of words makes it sound intentional. I would turn the emphasis around and say because news reports from the company are infrequent and the technology so new (to the public) and its impact so explosive, some of us post often as a means of sharing information and unravelling the mystery. There's a lot that's unknown and because clues come out daily---some times hourly---I, for one, find it helpful to discuss them together so we all can benefit.

I would hope our being talkative leads to increased knowledge and in the end to better investing. Besides the dollar value I've gained from following Amati and the xDSL sector, I've developed a whole new understanding of the telecommunications industry and in the changing political-economic climate as we move into the 21st century. Where else could I have learned so much and had so much fun at the same time? ---not to mention, increasing my net worth? I owe a huge debt of thanks to Jim Wilkinson, John Morrison, DThorn, Jrector, BillC, Engineer, and many, many others (including Techie) for their willingness to share their time and research.

Did you say "talkative?" :)

Stepping off soapbox. . .

Pat
