I added a 325 GB mobile hard drive to the PogoPlug. It had files and photos on it. PogoPlug is seeing some music files, but I don't know where it got them. Is it seeing music files on the usb hard drive? It also is seeing photo files, but the files seem to be dates, not photos. The view says "Processing Media, access may be slower until finished.)
I had many MSWord files on the usb drive, but it was not seeing them. I finally 'uploaded' a Word file, and I can see it through my.pogoplug/view. I checked from my wife's laptop, and I can also see it there. However, I don't want to just 'see' it, I want to be able to work on it. I can't tell from the documentation how to do that.
Can I just copy files to the usb drive? It appears I have to upload through my.pogoplug.
Can I access files that are already on the usb drive without uploading them? I can't see the usb drive on "my computer." It appears to be accessible only from my.pogoplug.com
Confused and frustrated. If the documentation were better I could figure it out, but it's written as though I already know what the heck they are talking about. |
