There is a more likely explanation for folks cheering for Gotti. Many were trying to curry favor with Gotti. Personal self-interest, ignorance and probably in some cases fear led to the gush of admiration for Gotti's aquittal. No completely objective person I know applauds a murderer, a thief and a bully. In light of the events currently swirling around Elgindy it's curious that you chose this particular article to post on this particular board. I'm still trying to figure out if you're attempting to help Elgindy or hurt him. If you're trying to impress readers of this board with similarities between the fed case against Gotti and the fed case against Elgindy then I don't believe you are doing Elgindy any favors. Your not in public relations are you? Why don't you follow it up with a nice article about Hitler? <g>
