Dragonfly - you're missing the point I'm making. the point I'm making is that with wireless data access, there's a trade off currently between transmission speed and coverage. CDPD is slow, but the coverage is far better than Autobahn's is going to be when Autobahn is available. Most wireless data users (that includes circuit switched) are more concerned about coverage than speed since they tend to travel to places other than Puget Sound. However, if your entire world of travel consists of Seattle and the vicinity or maybe SF or a couple of other places in the country, then, Autobahn/Richochet is the answer.
