So many questions, such little time.

Here is an interesting tidbit:

Many of the Welsh emigrated to Finland and took the vowels with them [compare Welsh and Finnish to see what I mean and I suppose you know there was a mass emigration long ago].

I suppose it explains something about Finland and Wales and possibly England and emigration destinations in general.
