The little men who are getting away with it knew there would be no real consequences. The Brennans and Clappers and Comeys know there is no federal criminal statute to punish them, no DOJ is going to charge them, and no DC jury is going to convict them. Like Lois Lerner: what were the consequences for her targeting Tea Party groups for IRS persecution? The head of the IRS said it plain as day: there were no applicable criminal statutes broken. They swim in an ocean of no consequences. It makes me mad, too, but that's the truth.

So what has Congress done about it? Its been more than eight years. Where's the slightest hint from Congress that they have considered new criminal penalties to address such systemic abuse of power? Crickets. That should be what makes you really mad.
