Khan, the statements you make about the likely size of the embedded market:
Take the last-mile boxes for example, there were probably 4 or 5 million units sold last year
are undeniable. However, there is no rule that says these designs did not negotiate a one-time royalty payment (or perhaps one in several "chunks") up front. It is probably the lower volume, higher ASP, projects that pay-as-they-go.
Have you heard any management statements regarding the split between per-unit royalties and buyouts?

Like I said, buyouts are not bad; they are simply royalties paid up front.

I've enjoyed the discussion too. I'm long WIND, and would like to see them succeed, but think it is worth some time discussing their strategy and execution, in order to understand WIND's real potential.
