Bull Market Report weekly summary. ***&*&*&*&*&*&*&*&*&*&*&*& $$$$$ EMC CORP RATING RAISED ABN AMRO said that it raised its rating on EMC CORP to buy from outperform. Two days ago, EMC reported 3Q net income of $310 million, or $0.29 a share, compared with $200 million, or $0.19 a share, a year ago. Results were two cents above estimates. COMMENT: There was concern about the merger with Data General and how it may not be going smoothly. If you look beyond the hype and the noise from the press, EMC had a good quarter and should continue to dominate the storage business.
