Jim, AMD doesn't have the financial ability to startup a 300mm Fab.
They have decided (rightly or wrongly) to end production "in-house"
at 200mm and "outsource" future technology on 300mm and larger.
AMD will be at the "mercy" of the foundries in regards to future schedules.
If it makes it any easier for you ... All the foundries are also having
a difficult time at .13um (even on 200mm).
