I doubt it will get to a vote. Opposition will bring him down for trying. Then you will hear the red necks from the party :)

It is not possible to bring him down on a Free Vote on this question. They could bring him down on a non confidence vote, but by bringing it up now, before the Liberals have any money or a leader, it means that the Liberals won't vote yes on a motion of non Confidence. The Liberals need a year minimum before they can afford another election..
