Thanks for the compliment <G>, but not really. There is some risk when you change things in your registry via ANY program, so if you're concerned I would not use this program. Oh the money I could make being a "home PC fixer upper kinda guy", but that for another life (and for all my local friends who call me: Tech Support!)

That being said, the history segment is easy. It asks you if you want to take a snapshot of your current setting to use as a baseline. YOu should say yes. It then records them, so you can go back to them if you need to.

As far as the FTP site, I will PM you the one I use.

I used the settings for PPP (button on the right) and it made the most difference. To those, I also added 16 for my cachesize.

As well, if you have a Pentium (or a recent machine), you should change your Bit/Second for your COM port via the Device Manager (via Control Panel>System>Device Manager>Ports>Com Port you use>Properties>Port Setting Tab>Bit per Second) to it's max setting of 921600.
